Test your ESP?

Test your self here

I didn’t do good on this one,
I only got 3 hits out of 25.:frowning:
[sub]Maybe I’m better at some other things…, right Montfort[/sub]?

Wow, cool. I scored 12. Not great I guess (I mean, there were 25 cards after all), but certainly interesting. Hee! In relative proportion, I did better on that test than I did on the math part of the SAT’s!

That was fun. Thanks.

I got 6. Guess I’m not psychic.

I got 5, so I’m even less psychic than Kat.

  1. Kat, are you getting my psychic message

5 here.

I heard that the “Psychic Friends Network” went out of business.

No one saw it coming.

::Ducks and runs for cover::

Well I got 6 out of the first 7, but then I think I only got 2 more in the rest. Oh well.

I got 9. I am a “fair” psychic. Wish it were so…

  1. I am so less than average. My sister tried it and got 8. Oh well.

That’s a good start,
maybe you lost your concentration after a while.

Alright, I did it three times and came up with 5 every time. The wierd part is that I almost ALWAYS picked the card that was next to the correct card. Granted, that gives me a 3/5 chance of being more correct then incorrect (ie: the correct card or the card on either side of it,) but still…

I scored a 1! Whatever the opposite of psychic is, that’s me!

Bumbazine, I’ve read that a LESS than average score means you still are psychic, you just choose to ignore your intuition or the impulse.

1 out of 5 right is considered “chance”. Anything vastly over 7-8 I’d guess means you probably have a touch of the sixth sense. My score was 9. However, I’ve noticed I have much better luck (and better scores) when I can actually “handle” the cards myself – then my score goes into the 12-15 range.

Side note: I also find I can generally guess the color of a playing card (red or black) about 50% of the time, without looking. It’s done by feel – red feels “slick” and warm, black feels heavy and cold. (No, really!!) This is done with eyes closed, after shuffling the deck numerous times. It works when someone else shuffles, too.

LMAO! Me too. Black, black, black, black, black.

::concentrates:: I think so, but where are we going to find a dozen juggling elephants?

Just a sec I’m giving you directions.

Slow down, Ell, I have to write it down so I don’t forget.

The big two. I guess that makes me pretty dense, or maybe it’s this picture of me running through India with a semi full of elephants…

I don’t mean to be picky or nasty or anything… but you have a 50% chance of getting it right anyway… how do you know it’s actually the feel of the cards and not just the odds??
