I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a tetanus booster, but the pamphlets from medical insurance groups mention them as necessities for adults. Are they really? Does anyone actually go to the doctor and ask for them?

Any time one is injured, the ER will give a tetanus booster. Its good for 9 years, but if you don’t remember, an extra won’t hurt (sic) Tetanus is a very painful and fatal disease. You really don’t want to get it.
