Texas again proves it is the asshole of the US

Fuck off.

We know who just went on the [del]ignore[/del] bubble list.

Personally, I’m going to just assume Clothahump’s response means that he thinks that gay spouses are entitled to the same insurance coverage rights as a straight couple and treat all further discussion that way. If he wants to contradict that, that’s up to him.

Then I am compelled to congratulate him for his first faltering steps away from the path of political error. Probably a direct result of our positive influence.

Forgot to add that there’s an entire New Yorker article out on this very subject (conservative Texas politics).

Exactly.

Much of the confusion here (I suspect) is that fervour doesn’t really understand what an interlocutory appeal is, and why it’s different from other kinds of appeals.

The remainder of the confusion here is that fervour has no real interest in learning those differences.

I’ll keep it in mind if I find myself with a dangerous level of euphoria.

That would be a correct assumption, and thank you.

Geez, elucidator, try harder. You weren’t quite arrogant or snotty enough in your response to qualify as a condescending asshole. You only made it to the level of condescending little twerp.

You certainly set the example.

I feel as if I’d been savaged by a Muppet.

So how was it?

Nerf porn.

Yeah, I suppose so. It’s probably for the best.

Well I’ll be darned. What a pleasant surprise.
Wonder why he couldn’t just say so in his response to fervor up front.
Strange, crusty fellow.

Are we talking Animal or Grover?

Elmo. Or Prairie Dawn.

He shares with ElvisL1ves, and one or two others, an abrasive personality combined with a paralyzing fear of “losing on the internet.” Thus, the confrontative, insulting tone and the unwillingness to give straightforward answers to very simple questions. This isn’t to say that they share the same political views. It is to say that they are the same type of asshole.

Let’s rehash. Go back to the OP and the title of the thread:

I pointed out that the OP was wrong. Texas has NOT said that same-sex couples are not entitled to benefits. The state Supreme Court sent the case back to the lower court and told them to get it right. And other posters pointed that out as well, by the way.

But the next thing I know, there’s some kind of challenge being issued to me that has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on what I posted. I answered the question that was asked. NC didn’t like my answer and started up with a bullshit demanding that I answer the question that I had already answered.

BTW, in response to what you said above, I’ll point out that my answer was non-confrontational, non-insulting and very straightforward. Which is why your statement is bullshit. Sadly, you knew that it was but you posted it anyway.

Why? Because he’s a sad little self-confessed troll, who shields himself in his little bubble world.

When you’re wrong, it isn’t the fault of those pointing it out. Just sayin’.

Now get back to your stalking.
