Truth.
There are a shit-ton of anime conventions happening in Texas, and I and my son (who attends these things) will be keeping an eye on how this effects them. Upcoming Texas Anime Convention Schedule | AnimeCons.com
In Firefly, I always forget whether the character River Tam was played by Summer Glau, or if the character Summer Glau was played by River Tam.
One of the early articles I linked nentioned J18 Publishing being kicked out of the San Japan convention in San Antonio. I tried to look at their website
But I get nothing but blank images and this
I’m in South Carolina. I turn on location for the site, it decides that I’m actually in Georgia, says it blocks Georgia, too.
Sigh.
Mod edit: Blurred url for porn site
Completely understandable.
[Moderating]
I’ve put the URL for the hentai site under a spoiler blur, to bring it into compliance with the board’s “two-click” rule for linking to adult content.
No warning issued, but please try to be careful about posting naked (heh) links to porn sites.

So the link failed the Miller test?
Also, I had no idea it was a porn site before clicking it. I’m not sure if I would have clicked it had I known. There is absolutely nothing in the post indicating as much, especially as it was a response to an Anime convention post (which usually in my experience have nothing to do with porn, unless it’s a special kind of convention).
In defense of myself, this is what the website looks like for me, so I don’t know how explicit what you saw was.
All I saw was the box I posted as a screenshot.
It was on my home PC, I don’t use my work computer for non-work stuff, so it wouldn’t be a big deal, but still. And if you didn’t know it was a porn site either, no problem; there isn’t anything in the URL indicating it or anything. (“Bratty Little Succubi” and “Infinite Horny” certainly suggest pornographic material, but it’s not like you see pictures of tentacle penetration or an upskirt shot or whatever.) I understand that.
I don’t think you really need the pictures to get an idea of what you’re getting with titles like “Bratty Little Succubi” and “Futanari Days Anthology”.
The pictures more than matched the titles, and that is all I will say on the matter.
I had tons of the toys, including Adam. Actually He-Man was one I don’t think I had!
My favorite was this guy who also got confiscated more than once because it turns out a squirt gun toy is an excellent sibling annoyer.
God, things have really gotten that bad in the South? I knew Florida had a huge spike in VPN sales when they blocked PornHub, but this is nanny state nonsense. I’m surprised conservatives aren’t up in arms about it (I’m not actually surprised). It’s fully accessible where I am north of the Mason-Dixon Line, you just have to click yes that you are over 18.
I was sure that was going to be a link to this guy.
But I was wrong.
That sounds cool. Could the bodies take Jack-in-the-Box antenna ball heads, the way that Ken dolls can?
It has been at least 40 years since I played with a He-Man figure, but I believe the heads were soft, hollow rubber with a sort of plug sticking out of the bottom. That plug would go into a hollow neck hole at the top of the torso. There wouldn’t be anything to stick an antenna ball onto, unless you wedged something into the neck hole somehow for the ball to fit over.
Oh, wow. And here I thought that it would be a question of whether they and Ken were the same size or not.
Oh no, extremely different in size and shape.
A Masters of the Universe figure is probably twice as wide and half as tall as Ken.
