No. Texas is the one “taking over” authority that they constitutionally don’t have. They’re not authorized to enforce or direct US immigration policy, and they never will be. They’re the ones who need to take it to court and ask permission to do what they’re doing (and explain why they shouldn’t be prosecuted for obstructing federal agents in the course of performing their lawful duties).

People work and save for years for the chance to make a life-changing investment. Why do you think migrants are different, do you think they don’t work or save? Do you think they have absolutely nothing whatsoever to their name?
