Actually it was about $94,000 last year. I’m still sort of in shock that my hard work paid off so handsomely as my husband sits here and does our taxes. I never expected to make that kind of money ever.
The point is that the governor said no tax increases.
The governor lied. He actually said he wanted to keep property tax increases to 2.5% or less. So his first act is to raise mine personally by 17%. Nice work Christie.
Not only I am paying more money in taxes but I’m getting less as result at my daughter’s public school by a governor who seems intent on turning our local school teachers (who do a wonderful job) into the bad guys.
Thank you Republicans. My daughter and I are literally paying for the idiotic war on Iraq and the bailout of AIG.
