Thanks For Your Advice Everyone

If you’ve read this thread you know I’ve recently found out I suffer from depression. Exercise was the most common suggestion and my GF has been determined to get me out of the apartment and exercising until I can get to a few counseling sessions and maybe a prescription. I had a 4-day weekend and we spent most of that time at the apartment complex’s pool (which on Sunday led to my first time having sex in public - woo-hoo, thank you depression!). Last night I went walking for about an hour. I also spent some time at the racquetball courts at the local high school throwing a tennis ball against the wall and fielding it with my baseball glove. I hadn’t worn my glove in years and hurling a ball as hard as I can against a wall turns out to be very theraputic.

Anyway, I’ve been feeling pretty good lately, this was the best weekend I’ve had in a while (even without the public sex Sunday afternoon). I still plan on meeting with a doctor, but I just wanted to thanks everyone for your advice.

It worked for Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, it worked for Da Brat, must give it a try.

Dammit you had better tell us frustrated people about this! We need to live vicariously through somebody!

Oh, and I’m glad you got the exercise. It really does help.

But you have -got- to tell us your story…
