An article about “Gay Paree”, or how the city of Paris, France is courting gay American tourists. I suppose my workplace is pretty tolerant, and I read this article with no shame or embarrassment or fear of inappropriate work computer use.
Then I innocently clicked on the “Related” link, which was labeled “Gay Paris.” I figured it would be a Time magazine article; those related links usually are.
Well, it wasn’t. It was a tourist website (www dot gay hyphen paris dot net/en_index dot htm) which, on the very front page, featured Big Hard Cocks In Action.
My blood ran cold. I closed the window pretty fast; I’m not sure yet if I was fast enough. I guess I’ll find out.
Well, great. I AM gay, by the way, and I’m not an anti-porn crusader or anything, but for corn’s sake. I’m at work, I’m reading cnn.com, and the next thing I know, I’ve committed a fireable offense. Damn them. That’s why I broke the link above; it’s definitely not work-appropriate.
I clicked the “Gay Paris” link on the CNN page, and got a normal-looking page. Only pics were of the Eiffel Tower at night and a small banner with a pic of a guy wearing boxers. Other than that, there’s a “Gay Paris” logo, a navigation bar, some text about gay tourism, a weather report, and a hotel ad. The URL matches the broken one you gave above. No Big Hard Cocks to be seen.
I didn’t even realize it was a banner ad, and that it changed back and forth from Big Hard Cocks to Not- Big Hard Cocks. You’re right, probably CNN didn’t even notice, although I’m sure my email, if I sent one, wouldn’t be the first to reach them. I expect the link to be removed by mid-day.
I just clicked the link, scrolled down a bit, and just about fell out of my chair. Cocks, cocks everywhere. I just wasn’t prepared for it!
“A complete on-line guide of Paris and its gay and lesbian community”…
Yeah, now the banner ad is for Black Stallions dot com, “#1 Gay Interracial site” and it shows an erect penis.
I’m emailing cnn.com, too. This has to be a colossal screwup on their part. And I’m sending it under “notice any errors on our website?” 'cause I bet they’re more likely to have someone monitoring that than just comments in general.
And for the same reason, I put it under “technical” and put the URL of the cnn article.
