What, please is that old rule according to which once people start calling others “Nazis”, the whole thread goes down the chute
very quickly?*

I wouldn’t quite know what to serch for and I am in a hurry to go off and exercise the “if voting changed anything, they would abolish it” thing.

  • Reason for question - not trouble with this site, but on another on which I am moderator.

Godwin’s Law is that as a discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one. That’s a little different from what the OP asked for, but what the OP asked for is (in my opinion, mistakenly) regarded by many to be Godwin’s law.
