That's a really wierd word…

Carribean; it just doesn’t look right. I want to read cari-been, not cari-bee-un.

No wonder it doesn’t look right, I’ve been spelling embarrass wrong.

I used to work in a library, filing cards into the card catalog … (yeah, OK, it was a while ago). many times at the end of a long day, simple words would just not look right. I remember one time when I was looking and looking at “book” and could not for the life of me see it as a real word. Imagine my chagrine when I when and looked it upin our dictionary ! :smack:

Funny phenomonononomoneon, isn’t it. I convinced myself that there was no such word as ‘bread’ once, just by saying it over and over.

Past tense of seen does not exist.
Saw = cutting tool
Sore = painfull
Sor = can’t be a real word
Seed = plant fetus
