Irregardless of that, spelling miskates are uncontionable.
::runs away::
I think an honest spelling mistake is better then people who do it consciencely too try and be kewt.
Smartas.
Oh can I please add something?!! Why do so many people use “lay” as the present tense of “lie” nowadays? Has anyone else noticed this? Sentences like “Lay down” or “He’s just laying there” - aaargh!!
And when people say “I could care less about it”, are they really saying that they don’t care at all? Think about it!
Here’s one that irritates me at the moment – it’s Libya, not ‘Lybia’ (which sounds more like something that crawled out of a David Eddings novel).
Mangetout, I hope you showed me that link in agreement with me. Notice how the offending quote at the beginning of the thread starts off like this: “Personally, I could care less of some beurocrat…”. Pretty funny, isn’t it?
Another one that’s been bugging me lately is “air marshalls.”
I have no objection to air marshalls and the security they would provide. But I would definitely be against marshall law.
I thought it was labia. Learn something new every day around here.
You have no excuse. Don’t you read the posts in your own forum?
I’m ahead of my time, I tell you.
I think we should just drop a nuculer bomb on all misspellars.
Opps…it’s “nucular”, isn’t it.
No, you where right the first time.
Geese! I mint too say, you where write the first time. …cant believe I mist that…
