Seeing as she almost single handedly ruined one of the best blues bands ever.
No love lost for Stevie or nothin’ but she’s earned a right to have her songs covered with a modecum of competence. Lindsay is tone deaf and music challenged and really quite useless at anything but colouring her hair.
We have The Disney Channel on a lot at my house (their tween and teen shows actually aren’t all that bad), and we were often subject to the aural abuse that is her video for a song from Herbie: Fully Loaded. Every time, I stopped what I was doing and muttered to myself, “Damn, she sucks.” The girl can not sing. Apparently, you don’t need talent these days if you are a pretty teenage girl with a hot body. She’s by no means the only one, it’s become endemic. I, for one, find this decline in standards to be quite depressing.
