This is actually the idea of a film critic- go to her page for her top 100 plus a more eloquent discription of the concept.

Basically, it’s not the 100 films you think are the greatest, or even your favourites- just ones that had a strong impact on you, or were especially memorable for whatever reason. Maybe it was the first film you remember watching in the cinema, or maybe it had a really horrifying torture sequence that turned your stomach- any reason is valid. Here’s mine in (very) rough chronological order of viewing.
