The 2007 Honda CR-V Sucks. A review.

I’m right at 6’ and drive a base model 2000 Subaru Legacy wagon. I love it’s power, handling, AWD, and voluminous interior space. But damn after maybe 90 minutes I get squirmy and uncomfortable and have to flex my right leg to give it some relief. That’s never happened with any other car. It’s not a deal-breaker since everything else about the car is fine for the most part, and I only drive it a few times a week, but it is a nuisance.

Funny, I chose the Forester because it has plenty of legroom and LOTS of headroom.

I’m 6’4" and am uncomfortable in many cars, but the Forester is plenty roomy for me. I have no idea how tight the back seats are because I’ve never sat back there and most of the time I’m not carrying passengers, so it’s not much of an issue for me.

Stranger, my wife drives a Legacy (can you tell we like Subarus? My mom drives one too) and I LOVE driving that car, but I tend to frighten anyone in the passenger seat.

:dubious: I don’t get it. It doesn’t make sense that they would spend so much detail on their entire car and then make such a huge blunder on the seats. I talked to one of the service guys at the dealership when I bought mine for awhile; he was about 6’7" and maybe in his mid-30s, and he said he’s only driven Subarus since he was a teenager. Seems like if this were true he would’ve mentioned it or simply quit driving Subarus.

I’m going on a 1,500 mile road trip in two weeks. I’ll let you know if I experience any leg discomfort, but I certainly don’t expect it.

Yup, those were the POS tires I had. Absolutely horrible tires. I drove around with 2 cans of Fix-a-Flat in my car just in case.

Nice choice. I love my Element. Have loved it for 3 years, 1 month, and 8 days. I’ve been wondering with the 2007 CRV if they still have a full sized spare or if they downsized to go underneath. That was the one thing I likes about the CRV better than the Element when I got the Element. I know a bunch of people with RAV4s of various vintages and they all really like them, too.

Yeah, it’s a shame that the E has a donut spare. My plan is to mount a basket on my roof-rack, and then mount a full-sized spare up on top. Then I’ll be able to use the below-deck tire storage area as an extra, hidden, storage compartment.

Have you seen the Element Owner’s Club? Tons of good information there.
