The 9th Annual Steelers March to the Super Bowl Thread

Damn. I have to give the Browns credit on that one. 4 sticks from the 2? Good job. Of course, everybody knew what was coming, but even so that’s a good effort.

Those two long passes that torched the Browns’ secondary, including the one where he had to step up in the pocket and hit Brown under pressure, were either amazing or indicative of how bad the browns really are,

Yeah, they got torched for 0 points.

Look at the scoreboard and tell me what it says.

I thought we were talking about the heroic portion of Benjamin’s game tonight.

Greg Little is a special wide receiver.

Something about ketchup.
Now if Gocong never had to play in space, maybe he’d be worth something.

Good pass by McCoy on third down - he’s not any good this year, but no on one his offense is doing him any favors either.

That punter sucks some ass. You don’t realize how essentially good punting can be until you lose it. Hodges was pretty great last year.

You brought up the points, so let’s talk about it. The Browns haven’t done anything since the first drive and a touchdown closes it out. Of course they’re going to go for it. And sure enough, the Browns punt and the punt sucks. Still think it was a bad call?

Oh man! Look at how Benjamin bravely stepped in and threw that interception! Shades of Willis Reed!

Which punt are you talking about? Regardless, the offense blows and they need to take some chances.

Well, my “James Harrison personal foul” bet just paid off.

So, how long will Harrison be suspended? I’d say a game or two. That was stupid. I hope McCoy’s OK.

At least it was a clean hit when we got yours. Well played, dirty motherfuckers.

I was really hoping Seneca Wallace would finish that drive.

PICK!

Ah, that’s the intensity I like. Seneca Wallace did just as much as Colt did all night with one pass, and he didn’t throw the pick or take the big sack.

Jeff Garcia is available.

Not really intensity. I think a dipassionate observer could see you’re a bunch of dirty motherfuckers.

And that’s that. Good game, Brownies. See you again in a few weeks.

Right, and a high/low sack is perfectly OK even though it’s the functional equivalent of a chop block.

Are you fucking serious? When two tacklers get to the ball carrier at the same time, not only do you think it’s dirty, but so dirty as to offset a deliberate attack on the head of a QB that already threw a ball?

Get out of here with your ridiculous apologist bullshit. You’re a joke.

No, the Browns are a joke.

And as for the hit, I didn’t see it as a deliberate attack on a quarterback. It was a step late, that’s all. And I don’t think the hit was deliberate, but he should be fined/suspended for it because that’s a no-no in the NFL.
