A pardon is meaningless, because I don’t see the DOJ even going after any of these people to charge them. It would be the state, which is what has recently happened. A federal pardon won’t mean anything to someone convicted and sentenced for state crimes.
And even if they do get a Trump pardon somehow. As convicted felons they will never work again. So, more crime. Gosh darn, well, ya gotta go with your strengths.
Sort of like the J 6r’s that keep getting arrested.
This is a problem, yes. As evidenced here:
So now they are trying to make it so the conviction is wiped from history as if it never happened. It hasn’t been successful, and it might never be (I hope not). But it goes to show that even a pardon isn’t enough for these folks. And it wouldn’t be for ICE/CBP folks if they are ever convicted and pardoned down the line.
ICE agent charged with felony assault:

I just got my CCW handgun certification. They should throw the library at this guy.
Does ICE receive any training at all? You do not do this. I did not need training to know YOU DO NOT DO THIS.
The answer apparently is “Technically yes, but less than about anyone else”.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers receive far less training than almost any other federal agents given a badge and a gun — even less than officials tasked with investigating exotic animal smuggling and odometer fraud, a CNN analysis found.
ICE officers historically have received less training, but the agency recently cut the number of training days for new recruits in half amid the Trump administration’s steep deportation quotas and aggressive hiring spree.
Do they have CCW’s? (conceled carry weapons permits). Can they carry when not in ‘uniform’?
My thought is that these thugs might be walking around threatening people while not in uniform (such as it is). Well that one guy did by pulling a gun on a driver of another vehicle.
And of course they murdered a couple of Americans. But, ho, hum.
Many if not a majority of states recognize carry by federal LEAs as authorized ex-officio. And of course the feds do so for their own.
Well… recognized “ex-officio” carry is NOT the same as training. But training won’t help bullies that just want to bully. Never will.
Cases against Chicago protesters dropped with prejudice (cannot be refiled) – better yet sanctions may happen due to misconduct during grand jury proceedings

Thought I saw this posted somewhere, hard to keep track.
Trump administration tells green card applicants to apply from abroad.

Wouldn’t be surprised that’s exactly what the administration is hoping for.
Again, another administration hope - this one to sow confusion / chaos, like DOGE.
EDIT: What’s with the no-preview thing again - second time today!
It happens with a lot of news sites. That’s why I check what it will look like before posting, and if it doesn’t give a preview I turn it into linked text with the source and headline.
Like…
CBC: Trump administration tells green card applicants to apply from abroad
Up until today it’s been hunky dorey for me, then two in a row, but yeah, point taken.
Brilliant - missed this…
I wish someone would go through Miller’s family’s immigration papers from 1913, find something irregular (maybe a missing comma) and decide he’s got to go back to Belarus.
And, of course- not be let back in.
I am not sure he actually has the legal authority to do so. I have little doubt there will be legal challenges soon.
A big part of that being, from CBC link above:
And agreed there’ll be no legal challenges from any Trump shenaniganry. Maybe the Supremes can vacay during their next big Trump showdown.
