Well, gotta go to work. Sorry if, in the time it took me to compile my answers, I’ve duplicated others. I also apologize for taking a lot of the easy ones. Later, taters!
I know two of them:
54. is Ozzy Osbourne Ozzmosis
and never mind as I thought the second page was the next page but it’s the main page. I’ll look to see if I can see any more.
Geez, I’m sorry. I’ve gotta steal some more of the easy ones:
Challenge 7
01 Nirvana, In Utero
03 Blues Traveller, Four
06 David Byrne, Uh-Oh
08 De La Soul, 3 Feet High and Rising
12 Tom Waits, Mule Variations

14 Pixies, Doolittle
20 Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream

8 Smashing Pumpkins (have no idea of the name)
9 Prodogy (again no idea)
15 is some sort of Janet Jackson
1b I’ve already done,
2:
10 looks like a John Coletran album but not more then 50% sure
3:
19 Evenesence Fallen
21 looks like 50 cent
4:

These were done all off memory, and I think I own all of two of them.
OMG. As OPer, OK. I will give an integrated thread of answers so far, suggest you add to it. I’ve taken Monkey Chew’s list and built on it. Haven’t checked em all - it’s easy to do so, since they’re all on Amazon.

I’m not reading any of your responses, because I don’t want to be told any of the I.D.s, because I plan to do the total geek-out thing and try to pin down some of these later, using my collection.
(As Rummy famously said, there are “known unknowns” and “unknown unknowns”…)
Like probably most everyone, I’m a lot better about identifying the artist and letting the album title fall by the wayside, even with LPs in my own collection.
But, including LPs that I visually recognize and am pretty sure I can pin down the specifics of later (web searching is allowed, right?), and fractional credit for those I think I recognize but not to a great degree of certainty (unknown knowns?) my early tally is:
Ones I got that haven’t been named yet, per Waccoe’s update post:
Part 6:
Elvis Costello and the Attractions - This Year’s Model
Sonic Youth - Dirty
Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville
Don McLean - American Pie
Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table and Dreaming
Part 5:
13) Sarah MacLachlan - Surfacing
16) Train - Drops of Jupiter
24) Shawn Mullins - Soul’s Core [kinda cheated for all three of these - I knew the artist but had to look up the album title]
Part 4:
14) Tom Waits - Small Change
25) Duran Duran - Rio
30) India.Aire - Acoustic Soul
Part 3:
07) Ludacris - Chicken ‘n’ Beer
08) Outkast - Stankonia
09) Lyle Lovett - The Road to Ensenada [another case of knowing the artist but not the title]
20) The Specials - The Specials
23) Madness - One Step Beyond
24) The Cure - Galore
26) Gary Jules - Trading Snake Oil for Wolf Tickets
27) Morrissey - You Are the Quarry
30) Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Part 2:
04) Gordon Lightfoot - Gord’s Gold
19) The Smiths - The Queen is Dead
Part 1:
40) Christina Aguilera - Stripped
48) Ani DiFranco - Evolve
51) Dizzee Rascal - Boy in Da Corner
Strangly enough, of all the albums I named in the last two posts, I only own 2: Elvis Costello’s This Year’s Model and The Smiths’ The Queen is Dead.
There are a few others I recognize but can’t place, especially since very few of the album covers are coming up full-sized when I click on the thumbnails.
The ones I know the title and artist of. Some I recognize, but can’t name the title.
