Is anybody else watching this crap. Who is doing the “research” for this show? They have conversations on between people who there is no proof what-so-ever that they ever met, let along talked to each other and even if they did, there is no way the show knows what was said.
The stuff that is historical fact, they screw up.
It’s like Redford got his actor buddies together to get their names on the show. An actor will do or say anything for money.
The other people who comment are “authors” and curators of museums, these people can be very good or very bad, depending on the research they do.
I have been waiting for the show to get better, but it’s not. You can get better info on Wikipedia and anybody can post on there.
I watched a few episodes and yeah, it seems more suited to The [un-]History Channel than AMC (which has some of the best stuff on TV right now).
I am not an expert by any means, but I just saw the episode on " Billy the Kid’s" escape from jail and I can’t believe how badly they got this wrong.
Even I could pick out the things they got wrong.
If your going to do history, at least try to get it right. If your doing fiction, tell us that, don’t make it look like it’s the truth.
