Let’s hope that was an autocorrect problem.
“Feel the excrement” will become my new saying!

New thread for the season.
Thanks, AK. And I would respectively ask–nay, beg–people commenting in this thread not to spoil the next season for those of us cord-cutters who have to wait until it comes to Amazon or Netflix.
For those people who haven’t heard the term “cord-cutters”, I think SlackerInc means people who have told the Cable companies to “take a hike” and who have switched to Internet Service Providers who provide unlimited Internet service - unlimited downloads and uploads and unlimited storage space for those U/L’s and D/L’s.
By the way, I do not work for any Internet Service Provider and I have no financial interest in getting people to “cut their cords”. But, I used to pay my cable company approx $200 per month for TV, movie channels (and other specialty channels) and Internet service. Their Internet service was closely monitored and I got charged for every Megabyte I downloaded. I had to pay close attention to the amount of my monthly downloads and I had to make sure they did not exceed a specific amount or else I would have to pay for exceeding that amount.
But now I pay around $75 per month to an ISP that was recommended by a friend. For that, I get unlimited Internet usage. I can use the Internet in many unlimited ways. I get an unlimited amount of time, unlimited amounts of uploads and downloads. The most important facet for me is that I do not have to be constantly monitoring my usage. It’s a much more civilized approach.
I can get most every TV program although sometimes, I have to wait several hours before I can see it. Watching TV for free over the Internet is a much more civilized way to handle TV and IMO, it will only continue to get better.
Good luck to all of you. Cutting my cord was scary at first, but it was the very best thing I ever did and I’m smiling all the way to the bank. I use the savings to buy myself toys like IPhones and MP3 players and USB storage devices and all manner of stuff like that.
By the way, TV is not free. I can’t watch TV stations in the same way that someone with a cord can. But, as far as I know, the laws are such that once a TV program has been broadcast, people have the right to take it and give it to others. I could be wrong about that and if I am, I will certainly apologize.
