I don’t know why I’m bothering but I just gotta: look, Cosmored, if you’re going to ignore every piece of evidence we give you as “government cover-up”, why ask for evidence? There is nothing you’ll accept. Consider the Bad astronomy site I linked to; it points out that in the videos the dust kicked up by the vehicles rises and falls in perfect parabolas in a manner you can only achieve in a vacuum. So did the government build a giant vacuum chamber of the sort that, to the best of anyone’s knowledge, you can’t build with today’s technology? Were there tiny wires on every dust mote? Can the government change the laws of physics?

I honestly don’t expect anything more than random handwaving, just like all the other conspiracy theorists who stop by to post their screeds and then ignore it when even the most glaring of flaws in their arguments are pointed out. We’ve seen moon landing hoaxers, 9/11 truthers, antivaxxers and others of similar ilk (I don’t think we’ve had a Flat Earther yet but I could be wrong) so if we’re tending to shift directly into “let’s poke fun at the idiot” mode it’s because you’re just the latest in a long line of people who seem to think that the government is simultaneously so powerful and Machiavellian that it can control the tiniest details of a conspiracy and yet so incompetent that your average internet hero can find out all about it and post it on a bazillion messageboards.

The government doesn’t need to discredit you and your kind. You do a fine, fine job of it all on your own.

Actually, we now know that Kato Kaelin was a government agent who attempted to silence OJ Simpson, only to be foiled by the brave intervention of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman who gave their lives in order for OJ to get the message out about Capricorn One and how it was based on actual events. When that attempt failed, Kaelin planted evidence implicating OJ in the murders to destroy his credibility; he also drugged and hypnotised OJ into committing the half-assed Las Vegas robbery that eventually jailed him. There may be evidence to show that this theory is a complete fabrication but that evidence was also planted by government disinfo agents.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a few dozen YouTube videos to post which will instantly grant credence to all of the above. Remember - the government may be able to fake a moon landing but it is utterly powerless to remove YouTube videos once they’re posted!

Apparently video recordings had a limited duration in 1969. Film wasn’t subject to such constraints - but that approach would involve cleaning up a lot of scratches and artifacts.
