The Ashes 2009

As I just told a friend. I have to stop off at Ladbroke’s before going home. I am freaking blessed right now.

Not being funny, but how’s that? He wasn’t great, frankly. Sure, he picked up some cheap tail-end wickets with the series already won. So what? A couple of threatening balls aside, he was every bit the Harmison we’ve come to know and be frustrated by. He was only bowled for four overs in the crucial first innings, and rightly so. Graham Onions has every right to feel very hard done by in being left out in his favour. And if Monty weren’t in such shocking form, Harmison probably wouldn’t have played at the Oval.
