Good point. If this becomes too big a deal to you and she knows it, it’ll be the perfect thing to push your buttons by not doing ever again.
I showed some early promise for musical instruments. Mom and Dad got really excited and suddenly I had an orchestra’s worth and was always being pestered to play something. Wouldn’t pick a thing up past 2nd grade, and I suck now. Which is a shame, because now I’d really *like *to be able to play something, but I can’t. And I seem to have outgrown my aptitude. 
Spend the money to have it matted and framed. You’ll never regret it.
Damn! Your kid can draw better than half the kids at my school (fantsy-pants art college in The Greatest City in America). Kidding, but not by too much! It’s so clear that she was really noticing little things about the kitty and putting them on the page!
