Hats are very trendy in some circles. You can find a lot of younger people wearing them - lots of fedoras, some bowlers. There’s definitely a type that favors that look. A surprisingly large number of them seem to be trying to look like Johnny Depp, but that’s another story.
i was wondering about the sleeveless thing. then i thought, “well, i do see her in a lot of cardigans”… so perhaps she is into that twin set thing. she does mix up the colours a bit sometimes.
so there you have it, twin sets, or sheaths with cardigans and mix the colours so you aren’t monochromatic.
Exactly. My thought on seeing the photo was “I need to go to the gym.”

Let me just note that while the White House is “sort of” an old building, it has been rebuilt internally at various times. Most specifically, it is probably currently made with very thick, sturdy walls and all-bullet proof windows. It’s built to withstand explosions and whatnot, I’m sure.
So I’d venture to guess that it’s very well insulated, just as a side effect of that. It probably doesn’t take that much power to maintain it at any particular temperature, once you’ve achieved that temp.
