THE BEGINNING of the UNIVERSE??!?

3/3=1
4/4=1
10001/10001=1
8 candy bars/8=1
however 0/0=Undefined
shouldn anything divided by itself equal 1??

Do you see the significance if 0/0=1? It would change the laws of physics and mathmatics. It would mean that something could be made from nothing. It could also explain the start of this So called Universe without the use of a higher being (which all scientific theroies end up going back to). :stuck_out_tongue:

This question started in general questions–just joined and I have a few questions to get off my chest – if anyone wants to see the beginnings.

Here’s the linky-link

I’m done.

I think this thread is not a great idea. The question “If 0/0 were equal to 1, would that imply there is no God?” is certainly debatable. But why don’t you wait to start the debate until after you get a complete answer to your factual General Question, which is essentially “Why doesn’t 0/0 equal 1?”
