What about similar books like IQ and the Wealth of Nations, by professors Dr. Richard Lynn, Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, and Dr. Tatu Vanhanen, of the University of Tampere, Tampere, Finland?
Of course they shouldn’t be prevented from publishing it, neither should the KKK be prevented from publishing their pamphlets. But that doesn’t mean that the views expressed therein should not be treated with disdain and scorn.
What the hell are you on about? Who is seriously suggesting that those who agree with any book should be “sanctioned”, whatever the hell that means?

I’d rather have these books published, rather than secretly disseminated among the crazies. Nothing shows just how bad the science and reasoning are in these books (or the insane racist bits) than a nice public airing.
Otherwise, you only encourage the nutcases to think there’s some kind of crazy conspiracy theory by “them” against whatever is in the books. Quite the contrary, we all need a good laugh now and again (to drown out the sorrow at how dumb humanity can be sometimes).

Yes, they all should’ve been prohibited from publishing those books. Since it’s too late, all the books should be rounded up and burned, all existing electronic copies should be secure-erased, and everyone who’s already read them should be bonked on the head with a cement paving brick until they’ve forgotten every word.

It can be dangerous to agree that there are intrinsic differences between sexes and races. Lawrence Summers had to step down as President of Harvard when he suggested that women tend to have less mathematical aptitude than men.

If that can happen to men that prominent it can certainly happen to people in more humble walks of life. A friend of mine teaches Hispanics in public school. She is constantly told by school administrators that she should be getting the same results other teachers get with whites and Orientals. She tells me she might be fired if she explained that most whites and Orientals can learn more. She used to teach blacks, and tells me that they are even less teachable than Hispanics.
I hear white people make the worst teachers. Is your friend white? That’s probably why she’s a bad teacher. Can’t trust the whites to be teachers, that’s what Mr. Rodriguez taught me in school.

No, books with stupid or offensive ideas should not be banned. As abhorrent as these ideas are, we must allow them. Regarding professional sanctions, it depends on the context. If a person’s prejudices will interfere with their ability to do their job effectively, they should be relieved of that job.

Hispanics aren’t a racial category, but a cultural one. Just under 40% of all Hispanics in the US consider themselves white and many are of overwhelmingly if not 100% European descent, while others are of overwhelmingly Sub-Saharran African descent and huge numbers are descendants of, to use your term “Orientals.”

I don’t think there’s going to be any serious debate on the idea of banning these books or sanctioning people for agreeing with their theories - and I’m not convinced the OP is interested in that debate since the thread is already turning into a discussion of the OP’s racial theories. There is already a thread going on that subject and we don’t need two. New Deal Democrat, we discourage excessive posting about any one topic, and almost all of your posts are about the same thing. I suggest you find some new subjects to talk about or cut back on your volume of posts on this topic.
