When the alarm goes off in the morning, I hit the snooze alarm over and over usually for about 45 minutes. I’ve always heard that sleep is useless to the body unless it is in solid chunks of 2-3 hours or more. I’d sure hate to stop hitting the snooze alarm. It feels so good. But am I really just wasting 45 minutes of my life every morning by laying in bed half awake with no mental or physical benefit?
