My understanding is that the mods just put [Closed] in the thread title, so new players know there’s no more room, and that this is completely different from the usual thread protocol elsewhere of “Only the OP can ask to have a thread closed, as in locked so that no one can post in it.” And that’s how I worded my request: to have the feud marked as closed.

I’m willing to be corrected if I’ve misunderstood.
