The best Christmas movie ever: "Die Hard"

It most certainly IS a Christmas movie, but Alas! not the best one. That would be It’s a Wonderful Life.

“He only flies on Christmas Eve!”

“Gramma’s chewing through the restraints!”

I’m sorry but I have had it! I have never heard of such a Christmas! Sex… and drugs… an-an-and women being set on fire!

Seems like, with the preponderance of Xmas movies on the Hallmark Channel, the odds are good that one of them is the greatest Xmas movie ever made.

Well, it certainly has a winter-time feel to it, with mentions of sleighbells, snowflakes, “silver-white winters,” and mittens. (Yes, it has non-winter imagery, too, but that dominates for me.) And, with that, packages tied up with string; yeah, I could see it being construed as “Christmassy.” (I personally don’t consider it a Christmas song, just like I don’t really call Die Hard a Christmas movie, and I don’t really consider “Linus and Lucy” a Christmas song, but they all culturally are, whether I like it or not.)
