Does anyone remember this story?
There were big “BOOMS” occurring over the Atlantic.
Did anyone ever decide what they were?
tests runs of the Concorde?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they were testing some very fast plane, probably one that was secret at the time. It could have been the B-1A (only a few were made but they would have been loud at supersonic speeds).
But the Concorde also sounds plausible.
