The Blair Witch Project

We, too, have manufactured some handprint/wovenwood goodies for the express purpose of scaring the bejeebers out of our buddies; and we’ve had the same reaction from innocent bystanders: “Man, don’t you know you’re just helpin’ to cojure up evil forces, man!” Reminds me of the early 70’s, when I would travel through the East End of Cincinnati (predominantly black) and see scores of whitewashed crosses and garlic bundles defending the typical home from the powers of “Blackula”.

This is slightly off-topic, and late to the
discussion, but I need to tell somebody
that TBWP, according to its credits, was
filmed at Seneca Creek State Park and
Patapsco State Park, neither one of which
is particularly close to Burkittsville.

…and that I’ve played frisbee golf at
Seneca Creek State Park many times, and
found my way out successfully each time.
