No my argument isn’t an open border and you will find nothing in my posting history to support that claim. My argument is that an intelligent solution to the immigration situation is preferable to idiocy like this fence.
If you want to stop people from entering your country then eliminate the employment source. But you people aren’t willing to do that.

Actually, we tried that. We were going to make felons out of employers who knowingly employed illegals, no matter where they were from, but see, the illegal immigrants came out in such incredible numbers, (you know, the ones that aren’t really here) that it actually had an impact on how America does business, and our politicians and the guilty white (I won’t say liberal) people saw all these hard working people protesting and saw in the great throngs the potential for themselves.
As for the drug problem, it’s a global thing. Here though, it’s our uptight puritannical Republican friends that see Marijuana as the end of Western Civilization, rather than the alternative to alcohol it is. The other stuff, meth, coke, heroin, ought to be so heavily criminalized that having even a little bit lands you in the clink for life.
Frankly, America should build a wall that makes the one in Berlin look like a ping pong net. It should go every inch of the 1950 miles, and razor wire, the mines, the dogs and the snipers should patrol and protect every inch of it. If it takes three million dollars a mile to build it, it’ll STILL be less than we spent to date in Iraq.
America has become a global laughing stock. The Republicans pander to a hyper-religious base filled with racists, zealots, and jingoistic malcontents. The Democrats cater to a weak-willed, politically correct base of whiners and pussies.
The facts are that an open southern border is a threat to the national security of the United States. People who cross that border illegally are also a threat to that same security. No, we don’t care if you want to come here and work, we’re a nation of immigrants who came here looking for work, but for fucks’ sake, do so legally. If you can’t, well that sucks, but tough shit.
If Mexico sucks, fix Mexico. Yeah, I know it’s harder than it seems, well 230 years ago, it was hard here too, but people did what they had to do, and now, on the blood, sweat and tears of generations of immigrants, we’ve made something worth protecting, and unless we start using metal, muscle and might to defend our borders, what we have, will be a shell of itself, and it will be our fault.
