Just dropping by briefly to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day tomorrow!! Off to my in-laws for a couple of days…
Yup, Happy Dominion day all !!!
Has anyone done any research into the On-To-Ottawa Trek from 1935? I first heard about this fairly recently, and my husband hadn’t heard about it at all.
It seems like this day leading up to Canada Day is longer than usual. Oh wait. It is.
I heard about it a year or so ago on a CBC radio show.
Happy Canada Day.
Have a great Canada Day, friends! I’m thinking I just may spend it exploring the hiking trails in the nearby Waterton Lakes National Park. Hope that all of you have some similarly fun plans!
Happy Canada day!
I plan to hit up some of the city stuff then just relax at home. Tomorrow will be for exploring nature, if I have enough energy.
I live in the country/bush, where my high speed internet connection is not at all high speed, so for Canada Day, I am planting a file sever farm.
What? You are planting a paper shredder on the muskeg ?
Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians.
I’m taking the grandkids to the local day long celebrations and parade for face painting, games and entertainment. I’m 62 years old, and I tell you this country has come a long way when it comes to celebrating Dominion Day.
sitting in the back yard in the sun, Camp Coffee in hand. The Cub is watching Wonder Pets, Mrs Piper is sleeping in. We plan on going to the LT Gov’s annual garden party this afternoon, and fireworks tonight.
Change of plans–a friend called and suggested a day of golf. So, we’ll do that instead. Hey, I’m easy!
Love those historic costumes in the photo.
No, shredding isn’t a problem. It the excessively slow speed of my internet connection that is a problem, for often it takes a very long time to download a file, and in the last few weeks for hours at a time the download speed has been 0.02 (as opposed to its usually slow speed of 1.2). The solution was to plant a dedicated server farm on the property, rather than suffer delays and service outages when being served files from either my office the cloud. Now I’m well on my way to having my own server farm. Here’s apic of my server farm– one or two days away from harvest (the farm a couple of lots up just brought in his first crop of hay yesterday). I’m pretty excitied about it! ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs
Dude! You’re obviously growing rooted cuttings from old stock, and will only get a low capacity harvest. You need to plant seeds!
