Well, since it was a unique pick, I’d have to say “Everybody else.” (At least I’ll get Tammy Faye to add to my 52 points.)
Good job Deathdealer Rachm

John Fowles. the novelist renowned for such works as The French Lieutenant’s Woman and The Collector, has died at the age of 79. (Linked site requires free registration.)
She didn’t die yet, did she? I was planning on adding her to my list for 2006.
(Just like Peter Jennings and Rosa Parks - so she’ll probably kick off soon. You know how everyone says: “If I have them on my list, they’re safe. My celebrities never die.”
Well, for me, it’s when I start making my list for the next year that they better watch out. I start picking names and they start keeling over. )
I haven’t heard/read a thing about TFBM. And she’s on my short & sure bet list for next …2010.
Nobody picked John Fowles.
Sheree North, who played Babs Kramer pn Seinfeld and the ex-stripper wife of Sheldon Leonard’s title character in Big Eddie, has died at the age of 72.
Nope, nobody picked her.
I think it is clear that Rachm Qoch isn’t playing by the rules. I know I will pay the ultimate price for this, but I couldn’t let my fellow competitors suffer any longer.
RC is, in fact, “John Smith”, a renowned long running CIA assassin. Mr. “Smith” first gained prominence in the Afghan wars of the 80’s, assassinating Russian commanders and anti-Muhjadeen leaders. He then spent some time in Israel, Lebanon and Syria, working with (for the most part) the Mossad against the various terrorist groups in the area.
Since then, he has cross trained with all the elite intelligence agencies in the world - Mossad, MI5, the new KGB whatever that’s called today, and so forth.
So clearly, these people haven’t “died”. Rachm Qoch simply looked at his target list for 2005 and chose 13 people who wouldn’t arouse suspicion and met the criteria of the contest.
I mean, he couldn’t very well put down some rebel leader we’ve never heard of, right?
Moustapha Akkad, the producer of the Halloween movies was killed in the terrorist attacks in Jordan.
So, does that mean that Halloween 9 is cancelled?
Seriously, however, that sucks
But nobody picked him.
Will we have a Death Pool '06?
Will a35362 act as host again?
(By the way, many thanks to a35362 for all the hard work. Really.)
Yes, Virginia, tell your little friends that as long as there are celebrities dying, there will always be a Celebrity Death Pool.
I’ll be opening up submissions for the 2006 game on December 1st. Start making notes…
WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure Sunday at the age of 38. He had a history of alcohol and prescription drug abuse, but had just celebrated four years of sobriety. The damage done by the substance abuse, but also a literal lifetime of physically taxing work, eventually killed him. Don’t do drugs, kids.

Pastor Adrian Rogers, 3-time president of the Southern Baptist Convention, pastor of Memphis Bellevue Baptist Church, which broadcasts the “Love Worth Finding” TV church service, age 74- after pneumonia & cancer treatment.
Less than a month after NY Giants co-owner Wellington Mara succumbed to lymphoma, his other half Bob Tisch has lost his battle with Brain Cancer.
I am fairly new as a doper. Does this pool re-start Jan 1? If so, count me in!
Entries for 2K6 start on 1 December. Expect it to happen in a new thread.
No one had him, but noted guitarist Link Wray seems to have died recently in Copenhagen.
