Two minutes after posting my 2008 list, I calculated I was mathematically eliminated from any hope of finishing first. 
Geez, we’ve got some really sharp death pool players here. (and I’m certainly not counting myself as one of those). 
It’s only January 2nd and we still have lots of people with Britney, Lindsey and Amy on their lists. There’s still a chance he won’t get that one.
Which I won the last two years. He can pry the trophy from my cold, dead - no, wait a minute, that’s tempting fate a bit too much.
God protects fools and drunks. They will all make to at least 40. People have been betting against Courtney Love for years, and she refuses to die; I think it will be the same with the current crop of diva delinquents.
I took Courtney off this year’s list. I expect to hear of her spectacular death any day now.

Of course, you’re right, I totally zoned on posting my picks this time. Considering only one of my picks shook hands with St. Peter in '07 (poor Tammy Faye) it’s probably for the best. Oh well, being a spectator to the moral quandry that is the DP is almost as much fun as being in it.
