Every year I try to tell myself I won’t be jealous when someone dies and I didn’t pick them, but someone else did. I should instead rejoice with them, share in their happiness of one of their picks dying. I need to be confident that with patience, I too will get to have that special thrill of hearing on the radio, or watching a news report, or reading online of a celebrity death that will mean something special to me. One that will make me smile everytime it is mentioned. One that will encourage me and remind me any day could be my lucky day.
January is not even halfway over, so I need to remember there is still plenty of time for my guys and gals to die. Those of you who have been able to experience your first deaths already…well congratulations! For most of us, they are few and far between, so you should enjoy them when they happen, you don’t know how long it might be until your next one. And for now I will just have to live vicariously through you, knowing my day will come.
( only in the safety of the Celebrity Death Pool thread can one express such feelings, knowing others can relate…I am so going to hell…)
