Which?
appleciders, I had him as one of my choices in this pool.
I’m on the board at last. So sad to see Charleton go, though.
Well, Prince Philip was released from the hospital today, dammit. I mean, good for him.
Who? Charleton Heston? I mean, that’s implied, but I wasn’t sure.
I had Heston and Richard Widmark on my list, and it’s still relatively early in the year. Not that I’m, you know, anticipating or anything…
I had to look up my list and copy and paste it to an email because I keep forgetting who I picked. I thought I had picked Heston but then I remembered that I decided not to pick him because he had Alzheimer’s, as does my mom, and I’d rather not think about the connection.
Eleven people pick up points with the demise of Charlton Heston. The only changes at the top are that qwest moves from 3rd to 2nd, and Nurse Carmen moves into the top 10 in 7th place.
Oops - Nurse Carmen was already in equal 8th place (I have to sort out the equal positions manually). Based on alphabetical order of the eighth ties, NC appeared to be 22nd.
Woo hoo! I got a point!
Now, if I can just pry it out of this cold dead hand…
(sincerely, that sucks, but still…)
Al-masri is confirmed dead
Which , if it is the same Al-Masri that I have:
According to wiki (which is where I did my research and this is the spelling they have) he was born in 1967.
This means I popped my DP cherry on a terrorist. Which is slightly on par in skeevyiness as when I popped with Pope John Paul Death Palooza.
Other DP news:
Stanley Kamel from Monk was found dead.
Just how many cherries do you have???
She’s of the opinion that DP cherries reset with the new season.
I in the “you only have one DP cherry” camp, and I lost mine to Yassir Arafat. Now that is skeevy…
I lost mine to Arafat too! What an orgy that was!
I beleive you get your cherry back every January 1st.
Betcha say that to all the guys. . . .
I do not think they are the same person. The news link refers to Abu Ubaida al-Masri. The wiki article is about Abu Ayyub al-Masri. However, Wikipedia does have a separate entry for Abu Ubaidah al-Masri, which, I think, makes it pretty clear that they are separate people and yours is still alive and kicking. Note also that Abu Ubaidah al-Masri is reported by Wikipedia as probably having died last year.
I think there should be DOUBLE points for someone whose death is so confusing and name so strange – that no one’s really certain who died or when.
I agree! Then we should dig then back up, shoot them and bury them again.
I patiently wait a judged ruling on this matter and look forward to all the in-fighting that this will bring to our quiet macabre little community.
Sidenote: I think like the Actor’s Union, Terrorists cannot have the same name as other terrorists. They must not have Osama bin Laden and Osama bin Ladden. Whomever was in first, gets to keep their name and the other terrorist becomes Osama Bin Smith-Jones.
That would get them off the Do Not Fly List.
Kenneth Parnell, the pedophile who kidnapped Steven Stayner, died in January. I am only sorry that he lived so long and wrought so much evil.
