But did they bury a small container of Ranch dressing as well?

I picked Yves a couple times and then got impatient waiting for him to go. I heard he smoked seven packs a day, downed 20 cans of pop daily, was an alcoholic and was into hard drugs as well. He also tried suicide at least once. It’s a wonder he lasted as long as he did. At least I has him in my other dead pool.

Joe Axelson, who was general manager of the Kansas City Kings when that National Basketball Association team moved to Sacramento, has died at the age of 80. After winning the NBA’s first Executive of the Year award while serving with the Kansas City-Omaha Kings (as the franchise was then known) for the 1972-73 season, Axelson became the league’s director of operations in 1979 before returning three years later to the Kings, who moved to Sacramento in 1985.

Actor/Director Mel Ferrer, dead at the age of 90.

May was another quiet month. Only three celebrities died, plus there was a late announcement of an April demise. In total, there were only seven dopers who picked any of these.

21 of 806 celebrities have died, representing 2.6% of the total and 3.2% of the votes. (I previously reported a total of 807 celebrities but discovered that I had both Edward and Ted Kennedy counted separately).

110 dopers have yet to score.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…

Longtime TV sports journalist Jim McKay has died at the age of 86

Won’t be long now. :Checking scope on newly bought high powered rifle:

He was still alive?

Wow.

Yes, he was. I’ve had him on my list for years. Woo-hoo, I finally scored!

I take solace in the fact that in terms of numbers no one is doin’ all that great.

To all the celebs on my list I say…

I love you all. Really. I do. A lot of you have lived very long and productive lives. You deserve to earn your final reward. Just sayin’ is all… Not that I am wishing death or wanting any of you to die. I wouldn’t do that. I’ll be really, really, really, really sad for all the points I get. I promise. For real. I swear. Ya know, just sayin’…

Post deleted, had a better idea…
