Teena Marie dead at 54.
Carlos Andres Perez, who served two non-consecutive terms as president of Venezuela, has died at the age of 88. Perez led the South American nation from 1974 to '79, then returned for a 1989-93 stint in office.
Salvador Jorge Blanco, who was the Dominican Republic’s president from 1982 to '86, passed away at 84. In 1991, he became the first former Dominican head of state to be convicted and jailed on corruption charges, but he served only two months in prison. After his release, he won an appeal of his conviction in 2001.
Any many mooooooore!
Are we sick bastid or what?
I thought was going to end the year with a big goose egg, but when I went back to review my 2010 list to prepare 2011’s, I was delighted to discover that I actually scored twice (Robert Byrd and Daniel Schorr.)
Not looking like Julie Andrews at all, Agathe von Trapp is no longer hearing the sounds of music.
That’s because she was Liesl (the oldest daughter), not Maria.
Personally, I would have gone for “So long, farewell, aufwiedersien(sp?), good night” or “no longer 16 going on 17”

Oh, ferfarksake, one of my Low hanging Fruits for 2011 just fekkin’ died:
Larry McNabb.
You couldn’t hang on a couple more days, could you.
Now THAT was funny!
Poor bastard being ridiculed for dying two days before it would count in a death pool.
So, not to annoy, but I have decided to see what all the hubbub is about with this death pool thing. I will go to the new thread to make my entries, but can anyone quickly tell me where/when this year’s winners will be posted? I’d very much like to get morbid, but I don’t know how.
Thanks!

Not until after the new year, obviously. We all hope for an end of the year rush of some kind, a Hollywood plane crash, theater fire, massing murder. You know, typical New Year’s Eve hijinks.
I don’t want to rush anything with a single plane crash. If half my list dies today and the other half tomorrow that would be okay too. 13 lightning strikes in two days isn’t asking too much is it?
How about a major drug deal gone horribly wrong with your chosen 13?
Well, aIl I need is one President on my list to die, and something go terribly wrong (shooting or plane crash) at his funeral, which is sure to be attended by Presidents and First Ladies.
Anorexic model, Isabelle Caro, died in November, just being reported:

Since she was only 28, anyone having her just hit the mother lode.
Two musical losses:
Bobby Farrell(age 61), lead singer of Boney M, sits down by the rivers of Babylon for the last time.
Jazz musician and composer Billy Taylor, 89, finally knows how it feels to be free. UK readers may better know his signature tune as the theme to Film 2010 (or whatever year, as hosted by Barry Norman, Jonathan Ross, Claudia Winklenose, etc).
Auf Wiedersehen.
All that botox! Yeah, it could happen that way…
Geraldine Hoff Doyle, the inspiration behind the famous wartime poster ‘We Can Do It!’ with Rosie the Riveter from World War II dies at 86
