Whoops. I see what I did. I looked for Pendergrass, and then read down looking for Reatard.
However, Rue McClanahan is spiraling downward…
Unusual interpretation when the article says:
Optimist!
His name is Dio and he’s messing with your list
When he feels better you end up getting quite pissed
Ronnie James Dio is screwing with your death pool
If he beats cancer you’ll be looking like a fool
Doot doot doo doot de doo…
Doot doot doo doot de doo…
Dennis Hopper maybe at the end of his final ride.
Much as I’m a fan of Dennis, he’s on my list.
And at least on the surface, picking a pretty tacky way to exit- apparently he’s divorcing his wife of nearly 14 years from his deathbed… nice. I hope it’s just a really unsavory tax dodge or something.
ETA- wait a minute, dammit! If he’s been at Cedars since Christmas, why the hell weren’t we told?!? My list, my list…
He is also seeking custody of their 6 year old daughter, which seems bizarre.
I can almost understand the getting the divorce move, as maybe a last ditch “ah fuck it” maneuver. But if you’re 73 years old and your prostate cancer has moved into your bones, suing your 41 year old wife for custody of a six year old kid is pretty much a dick move any way you slice it.
Unless the mother is psycho or something. Don’t see much evidence of that.
I can see cutting her out of the will AND screwing her in the divorce to be sure she doesn’t try to contest the will. The custody thing, dunno about.
Gaines Adams, football player, has died.
Such a sad, pointless death. And by pointless I mean I bet nobody had him on their list.
Did we all catch this on FOX just now?
My god, I saw he was born in 83, and it made me stop and think for a minute.
But apparently, Im not old, even at 27.
Where are the stats for this year? Wasn’t there a post with a list of names picked and number of unique picks last year?
Country Music Maker Carl Smith
(First husband of June Carter Cash, Father of Carlene Carter)
Glenn Bell, founder of Taco Bell has died at age 86.
Have we had anyone get points this year yet?
Sad that it was launched right after their “drive-thru diet” campaign. I can see the jokes forming already . . .
