No points for Miep Gies, who helped protect Anne Frank.
Just saw this on my Wii news channel.
Did you mean:
- You didn’t have him
- No one had him
- Because he was 100, it would be a wash either way?
What an epitaph for the woman who saved Anne Frank’s diary.
Indeed. Sigh.
I didn’t know the names of the people who hid them, let alone that one was still alive and had a web site. Damn.
I only recently saw the film of someone’s wedding where she leaned out the window and smiled.
The world’s strongest man Joe Rollino died. At age 104. From being hit by a van.
When I first heard this story this morning, I wondered if I were still asleep and drearming.
Just think about it for a moment. Choice number 3 invalidates choices 1 and 2. Why even ask the question?
Miep Gies was a woman.
Here is an article on him when he was 103, for anyone who is interested.
#3, although #1 is true as well. I didn’t know #2 one way or the other.
Too bad he wasn’t the worlds *fastest *man. He might have escaped!
Perhaps to gain the insight of the person who posted it? Why ask any question to someone else?
Sorry for using a convention that has been around for as long as I can remember.
A shocking music death: up-and-coming garage rocker and stage pugilist (really…guy got into more fistfights on stage than any recent musician I can remember) Jay Reatard dead at 29. Don’t think anybody had him, but wow.
With a name like Reatard, I could see why he got into a lot of fights. But checking that website, I see that he changed his name from Jimmy Lee Lindsey, Jr to Jay Reatard.
I am surprised he didn’t change his first and middle name to Morris Ronald.
Morris Ronald, Moron
Damn. I kept adding him and then removing him from my list. D’oh!
Don’t you mean “uh-oh?”
Pssst…7 posts above.
