Bobby Bragan, who played baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers before becoming known as a colorful manager, has died at the age of 92. In 2005, Bragan came out of retirement to lead the minor league Fort Worth Cats for one contest, and become not only the oldest man to manage a professional game, but the oldest to be ejected after he argued with an umpire in the third inning.
Robert Mosbacher, who served as Secretary of Commerce from 1989 to '92 under U.S. President George W. Bush, passed away at 82. Mosbacher also oversaw negotiations that led to the 1994 signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement, and served as general campaign chairman for John McCain’s 2008 run for the White House.
