The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

Oh, well, sure…if you’re going to go and apply your fancy-pants correct mathematics to it…

Jay Gallagher, New York state based bureau chief and reporter for newspaper chain. Pancreatic cancer. Age 63.

In the world of fake math, I’ve already won, and so did I.

[[But actually, in typing this, I just lost a different game. Yep. You did too. :smack: ]]

The only math that matters to me is Dead Pool Pointage.

Is that wrong or what?

Steve Perry, screenwriter for the animated Thundercats has been missing from his home outside of Tampa since at least Friday, and is feared dead.

Let’s start a pool on how long it will be before we see this plot on L&O:CI
I say next season’s premiere

Thundercats was scripted?!? Whoa!!

And 37 points (is that right, Hal?) for you, moving you into second place.

Ppppht…you can use math to prove anything

Sandy Herold, who owned the chimp that mauled that poor woman, is dead at 72.

DARN.

Art Linkletter dies at 97.

Only 3 points.

Another one from the “I didn’t realize he was still alive” file…

I’m no genius but “a severed body part found nearby” is not a good sign.

According to this story, it’s an arm.

With deepest respects to Mr Linkletter, his passing puts me on the scoreboard.
I may have gained a unique pick with him. Am I right?

me, too.

Had I known he was still alive… :dubious::smiley:

Art Linkletter?

Damn. I was a Linkletter kid on his House Party show in 1967. Despite his fixation on drug abuse, he was a kind man. To a 9 year old kid, he was really bigger than life. I remember that day fondly.

UK Air Chief Marshal Sir Christopher Moran, 54, dies during a triathlon.

South African opera singer Siphiwo Ntshebe, scheduled to sing at the upcoming World Cup, dies of meningitis at just 34.

Death is definitely not taking a holiday.

I took Art Linkletter off my list from last year. Still no points for me. :frowning:

No. panache45 and Mean Mr. Mustard also picked him.
