The Celebrity Death Pool 2010

I’ve thought about having Linkletter on my list for years. It was never worth the few points. Besides, he looked like he was going to live to be 100.

Did anyone have Britany Murphy’s husband? Was he even a celebrity?

No.

We have no rules as to what constitutes a celebrity (just a few exclusions), so he would count. I have suggested having an exclusion of people who are known only through being related to a celebrity, but we have never implemented that.

He was a screenwriter and producer with several legitimate credits; it’s more newsworthy that he died so soon after his wife, but Factory Girl was a pretty high-profile production though it didn’t do well financially, and he died at 39. It would have made the AP anyway.

Death is definitely not taking a holiday.

This is the loss of a tremendous voice.

Watcha talking Willis, Gary Coleman has been hospitalized in Utah.

The “Breaking News” Twitter account says its critical.

Death watch - Just announced Gary is on life support.

So is Ariel Sharon.

Yeah, knowing how good doctors are getting at it, Gary Coleman **may **be added to my 2011 list.

The former oldest Medal of Honor recipient, and last surviving Pearl Harbor honoree, John W. Finn, passed away yesterday, at 100 years.

Fair winds and a following seas, Lt. Finn.

Dammit, I thought that keeping him on my list would keep him alive.

CNN breaking news that Gary Coleman has died at age 42. Worth 58 points.

Gary Coleman certainly did not age well. Did he have any friends left at the end?

I hope this wasn’t another pointless celebrity death. Anybody have him?

A quick search shows that Winston Smith and stockton each gave Coleman’s death some meaning.

After a pretty stellar performance last year, I am majorly sucking this year. My death mojo has… died.

Why did I giggle when I noticed that Winston Smith also has Verne Troyer?

Obigatory:

What chu talking bout 'X-mas?

One wonders what Avenue Q will do now.

Well, that was the longest I was high for so long.

Thanks, Gary Coleman.

I should had known that as soon I gave hope that Gary Coleman was going to make it than then he was going down.

You did drugs with Gary Coleman?:confused:

Still no points for me in 2009 or 2010. I am the Guardian of Life!
