You cannot make this shit up!
He was testing a re-engineered Segway that could go up and down steps. Tragically, his engineers had not contemplated such a large step.
One small step for a man, a giant… oh shiiiiiiiiiiiit.
This may be the best year so far for goofy means of death. At least two cliffs so far, and the recent hay bale tragedy.
Maybe there should be bonus points for “wackiness”.
Maybe someone told him to take a flying leap.
Or they told him to talk a long walk off a short pier.
Obviously he didn’t look before leaping.
To put the Death Pool back on solid ground, musical theatre actor James Stovall has died.
I’d talk with him a few times. He was extremely gracious with his fans.
Gloria Stuart, age 100.

George Blanda, age 83.
And apparently, he couldn’t make that step down.

I think they are weighing all options.
Since Gloria Stuart has passed on (age 100), if anyone chose her - no points.
While I’m not getting any points in this, pleased to see “an end of the month” clearance by the Grim Reaper. Still a few days left and hope my list is up for consideration for the September sweeps!
You BOTH owe me a new keyboard!
Gloria Stuart, actress, has died at age 100(worth 0 points).
Her heart…will not go on to do anything anymore.
Also, Sally Menke died as well. She edits Quentin Tarantino’s movies. Some Robert Rodriguez ones too.
47 points.
Link.
39 year old quasi-celebrity chef Joseph Cerniglia kills himself jumping off George Washington Bridge in NYC. No Segway involved AFAICT.
Once appeared on a Gordon Ramsay show called “Kitchen Nightmares”, and apparently the 2nd guest of this Ramsey guy kill himself.
Never seen this show – is this Ramsey guy some kind of snide superior asshole like that British shit Simon on American Idol?
Worse. I’ve only seen snippets of the show, but he makes Simon “Britsh Shit” Cowell look like Mr. Rogers by comparison.
I suppose, since he is driving people to their deaths, he is a major asset to the Death Pool. Perhaps I should research who some of his guests were for next years list.

Tosh. He can be brutal with people who are screwing up through being lazy or arrogant, but he is a fantastic motivator of those who are trying. Mind you, you need to see the BBC America bersion. Fox edits him to seem to be more of a bastard.
