No wonder she developed testicular cancer, all wrapped up like that.
She would have been. Nobody had her. I don’t keep track of alternates.
Curses.
Foiled again!
Mr. McManus probably did…
The article I read said that his long battle with cancer was well documented in his local papers. He was not hiding it. And somehow the ghouls here missed it.
My favorite role will always be Sergeant Hakeswill in the Sharpe series. One of the most evil characters ever brought to life by a great actor.
You would think this would bring me some comfort.
It doesn’t.
I mean, I knew going into the list, my hands were so tied to the 'son theme. Never heard of the guy though, so can’t get too mad at it.
So what, Day 3 of 2011, and 3 deaths?
Is this the fastest year yet?
Though - come to think of it, a Close but No Cigar prize might have been fun.
Especially since two of my three alts bought the farm last year.
Oh, hey, feel free to give yourself as many prizes as possible. My “participant” ribbon from 2010 is awesome!
And my “First Blood Alternate” Medal is pretty cool, too!

I have 7 out of the top 20. They’re all immortal…
I have the top three, hoping I will finally get some points this year. And Ariel Sharon. I just can’t give up on him now, as he has been on my list for the past two years. Go towards the light, Sharon!
I’m surprised Cheney is as low on the list as he is.
Lindsay Lohan got out of rehab this morning. Any side bets on how long it takes her to get all hopped up on goofballs and wrap her car around a tree?
The Undead cannot die.
Gerry Rafferty, RIP. My first and only alternate. Le sigh.
Points for me, but I can’t say I’m dancing at the news.
I guess my claim to fame in the Death Pool 2011 is picking Harmon Killebrew first. I got wind of his cancer diagnosis last week. And I was hoping to sneak the pick in under the radar. But it is hard to slip a notable cancer diagnosis past the all the Ghouls around here.
i got it as soon as it was posted on Google news, but I don’t pick anybody over 70.
The Opening Kickoff Award, and early lead, goes to GIGObuster, Dung Beetle and Registered at Last.
