The Celebrity Death Pool 2011

Just goes to show, you can be as healthy as you want, and you’re still gonna die.

puts away cereal bar to get sausage mcmuffin for breakfast

My favorite thing about Jack LaLanne is that his wife’s name is Elaine.

I was going to try to find a Bill Hicks quote about the value of living good, and having a short life, over being a bored health nut. But I Found a better one instead :
“How much do you smoke, sir? Two packs a day, is that right? Pussy. I go through two lighters a day. That’s right, two lighters! You’re a health nut compared to me. **You’re like the Jack LaLanne of smokers compared to me. **” -Bill Hicks

You two should be ashamed. It is all your fault he died. Who knows how long he could have held on if you had just kept him on your lists.

I dreamed last night that Zsa Zsa and Elizabeth Taylor had both died. I just want to make sure I get the credit for that if either of them croaks today!

And then, for the punchline, he died of cancer at the age of 32.

I know Dick Winters just died, now another member of Easy Company, “The Band of Brothers” Ed Mauser has gone over the top as well.

That aside, his points were and still are valid. He probably got more out of life than most.

He certainly got out of life quickly. And while quality over quantity might be great for a few people, I’d like to stick around for a few more years, just another casual observer on this boat ride.

George Crowe, who played in the Negro Leagues before a decade-long career in the majors, has died at the age of 89. In 1939, Crowe had been the first winner of Indiana’s Mr. Basketball Award, and spent a season as Jackie Robinson’s teammate on the Los Angeles Red Devils pro basketball club in 1946, just before Jackie broke baseball’s color line with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Gus Zernial, who led the American League in home runs (33) and runs batted in (129) in 1951, passed away at 87. Zernial hit 237 homers during his career with the Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, and Detroit Tigers.

Re:Tony Geiss

So, he’s the guy responsible for getting There Are No Cats In America stuck in my head every few weeks?

I approve of this.

You too? i haven’t watched the movie since it was in the theater and that song follows me…

Uncle Milton ant-farm co-creator off to see the Queen at age 97.

Country Music Hall of Fame member Charlie Louvin, who with his brother Ira ranked with Ralph and Carter Stanley as one of the greatest duos in bluegrass history, passed away overnight. Louvin, 83, had been receiving experimental treatment for pancreatic cancer.

Yeah well, if not that one, Elmo’s song [Which would later be used for the **Elmo’s World **segment] would fit the bill.

I’ll stick with a few…
