In case anyone was alarmed by reports of Aretha Franklin’s poor health, rest assured. As she said a few months ago, she doesn’t have cancer, and now she’s lost 85 pounds because she decided she looked too fat. So she’s better than ever, as you can see.
One presumes that you do not have her.
Damn these health fads! Aretha, babe, I like my women singers operatically large. You should gain that weight back, add 50 more pounds, and put on one of those steel helmets with horns sticking out the sides.
Unless she’s losing all that weight rapidly because of her cancer.
The surgery she had might have been lap band or something.
