The Celebrity Death Pool 2011

Nor did I.
Perhaps we can help each other out.

Nobody would suspect a thing. Remake of Strangers on a Train. The Online version.

Probably more like Throw Mama from the Train.
If we start comparing “Little Lists” on the board, I bet we’d get jack booted up the arse, so use the letter drop and the Secret Code Ring.

Walter Breuning, who had been the world’s oldest living man, has died at the age of 114. He was second in total current human longevity only to Besse Cooper, a Georgia woman 26 days his senior.

loser!

Son of Groucho Marx gets his very own obit.
Really? The less-famous sons of really famous people? Is the Grim Reaper a total slacker or what?

BAH! I’ll need to see both Walter’s and Bessie’s original long form birth certificates before validating their ages and places of birth. Can’t be too careful you know;)

He’s just getting ready for a big Easter, maybe.

Hmmm. I didn’t make it into this year’s game because of stupidity on my part, so I can’t actually be disqualified.

If someone on your list dies, and rises again three days later, do you still get the points? If not, can they be on your next list?

Zombies, vampires and holy ghosts are still considered dead, so the points should remain.

But if you kill a vampire again with a wooden stake, do you get the points again?

Nah, you destroy vampires, you don’t kill them. They’re already dead. That’s why there will be no points awarded for Henry Kissinger when he goes. He’s been dead for years.

Most of Arthur’s notability came from being Groucho’s son but, as the obit states, he also was a screenwriter for some B-movies (like in the Blondie series and a couple of Bob Hope pictures) and wrote a novel based on his experiences “as a top-ranked junior tennis player in the 1930s and early 1940s.” His obit is far longer than it would have been had he been Arthur Marks, but he would have gotten a mention.

Think of the Death Pool as a business.

You don’t benefit from points unless

You’re a stake holder.

Trevor Bannister best known for Are You Being Served? has stopped serving at age 76.

How many actors from that show are still alive? Two?

Music producer, 50’s rock ‘n’ roll pioneer and founder of Dot Records, Randy Wood dies at 94.

Former Baltimore mayor and Maryland governor William Donald Schaefer does what Zsa Zsa cannot.

Italian chocolate tycoon Pietro Ferrero, 47, has died in a biking accident in South Africa.
