The Celebrity Death Pool 2011

Her story has fascinated me for years.

Surrealist artist Leonora Carrington dead at 94.

Might as well start toting up those points for Kenickie - Jeff Conaway is brain dead

So – condition unchanged?

Hurr hurr. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m bummed to hear about Jeff Conaway, actually (and not just because I didn’t have him on my list this year, you vultures). I really liked his role on B5.

If we counted “Brain Dead” as actually dead, The 2011 Celebrity Death Pool would have a record amount of points.

A lot of my users would be in that category, as well as a few Dopers.

While Zsa Zsa lives on …

I know, right?

I mean, Paul Ruebens in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Alan Rickman in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves didn’t take this long to die…

If she’s still alive in December, maybe we should run a Zsa Zsa Death Pool alongside the 2012 CDP. Dibs on Feb 6 2017!

Margo Dydek (and her unborn child) passed away.

For those that do not who Margo Dydek (and I am one), Margo was a Polish basketball player who had heart attack, about 10 days ago, and then placed in a medically induced coma. She was 37.

She was 7’ 2" tall, and played in the WNBA for the San Antonio Starrz and Connecticut Sun and holds the WNBA for most career block shots.

With her height and the fact that she died of a heart attack at a young age, I’d think Marfan’s Syndrome, but her Wiki page doesn’t say anything about it. Strange. And tragic.

I could have missed this but search didn’t show any mention.

Joe Morello, long time drummer in the Dave Brubeck quartet, died March 12, 2011, age 82.

I’m still a big fan:(:frowning:

Looks like Jeff Conaway will die today, as expected.

Conaway is no more.

I’m sorry to hear that, and not only because he wasn’t on my list.

Conaway must be on many lists. But he is a 40 pointer so he did not die in vein, Note vein…overdose.

SLOW DOWN!!

Maybe the two funniest words repeated over and over again.

RIP Wheeler I hope you are peace now, say hello to Latka for me.

What got me was a report that referred to Conaway’s “untimely death”.

The man was a serious drug abuser for over three decades. How was his death untimely?
