The Celebrity Death Pool 2012

Sorry to have to tell you this, but since smithsb got points for Sun Myung Moon you are actually #123.

Did I crack the top 100?

Not quite. You are currently #101.

That’s it. Time to start treating this game like golf, where the lowest score wins.

Unconfirmed reports that Michael Clarke Duncan has died. He was at the top of my 2013 list.

:frowning: He was only 54. What a waste! of 46 points

I just heard a confirmation on the evening newscast that Michael Clarke Duncan did die of a heart attack. I’m really sad. He was a fine gentleman and a wonderful actor. He will be missed.

Confirmed by AP:

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan dead at 54

:frowning:

Anyone have him? I doubt it. :frowning:

Lead guitarist for Starship dies in Nebraska
Mark Abrahamian, the lead guitarist for the rock group Starship, died of a heart attack after a concert in Norfolk, Neb., his road manager said. He was 46.

After Omorosa had to perform CPR on him a month or so back he was certainly my favorite for 2013. Missed it by that much.

Damn, I liked him. A fine actor, I suppose his role in The Green Mile will be one of his better remembered parts. I also like him in the silly movie The Scorpion King.

He was younger than me I see. I had no idea what his actual age was.

That fellates with great alacrity, as I have observed myself, Oh Most Excellent Death Mistress.

Found this out during my lunch break.

This one stings.

Doubly, because I didn’t think I would care for him. I can’t be the only one that thought we had at least half a dozen more movies with him, right?

Not as bad as when Michael Jackson or Fred Rodgers [Mr.Rodgers Neighborhood] passed, but this one got to me.

If that had been the only movie he ever made, he would be remembered for it. One of the most powerful and moving portrayals ever.

So you are saying he won’t be remembered for it?

Judy Blume, the author, is battling cancer.

I think she means that if MCD had only ever made that one movie and nothing else, he would be remembered for that alone. He was that good.

There’s been a lot of things said about Clothahump on this board but I think this is the first time anyone has mistaken him for a woman.

Nope, I’ve mistaken Clothahump for a woman. Mainly because the name Clothahump always seems to me to be a reference to the 3rd handmaiden of some obscure Greek goddess from Edith Hamilton’s book on Mythology.
